, and locally we have pottery and craft shops, bank, general store, petrol stations/garages, butchers shop, post office and cafes /restaurants.
Wonderful day trips to the Isle of Skye, Eilean Donan Castle, Inverewe Gardens. And the not to be missed breathtaking drive to Applecross, over the Bealach Na Ba (Pass of the Cattle) which is the highest road in Britain. And Inverness the Capital City of the Highlands is just over 1 hour’s drive away.
Strathcarron railway station is approx 3 miles, where you can get the train to Inverness or Kyle of Lochalsh. The trip to Kyle of Lochalsh offers stunning coastal views.
Castle cottage is non-smoking throughout.
Breakfast is served between 8.00 am and 9.00 am. Guests can have fruit juice and a choice of cereals followed by a full Scottish breakfast with toast and preserves along with tea and coffee.
Prices vary throughout the year but will be between £26 to £30 per person per night for accommodation and breakfast.
Reduced rates for children. Under 2's are free.
